Rakusu

Rakusu is worn by Buddhist monks and lay-people who have received the precepts from their teacher. Four Gates now offers completed Rakusu and case. The Rakusu case is ordered separately, and is highly recommended for storage and transporting the Rakusu.

We make the Rakusu out of black which is most often used. If you need another color, such as, navy, brown, maroon, saffron, Chan style White Fabric if you wish, but these colors are $20.00 extra, except for white.

If you have a fabric from which you would like a Rakusu made, i.e., brocade, linen, or other fabrics these must be supplied by the customer. Send us an e-mail to let us know. We can accomodate with your submitted fabric.

Allow at least 2-4 weeks for the Rakusu to be created, and another week or two to arrive, unless you arrange for expedited air services at an additional charge.
