The Tibetan word for prayer flag is "Lung ta", meaning, "Wind Horse". When wind blows, (expressing the quality and nature of mind) the blessed, sacred energy of prayer is carried on the wind through the breezes.

Four Gates offers every size and length of string from small 3.5" to 18". Prayer flags strings of as little as 5 individual flags can be selected for smaller spaces on a patio, balcony or window. We offer larger sets, or packaged deals for value and economy.

The prayers contained on the material are carried by the wind, and your own mind to all everyone as a blessing. By viewing them you are reminded to prayer for the welfare of people, and to be mindful of the motivation to be kind, compassionate, and joyful throughout the day.
