How do I make an exchange and return of a returnable item?
Please contact us for authorization prior to making a return. If you are not satisfied with a product within two weeks (14 calendar days) of the receipt of your purchase, and it is a returnable item, we will accept the product back for either a refund, less a 10% restock charge to cover transaction cost, OR, a store credit, exchange for other products. Shipping and handling costs with be deducted in either case.

For those ordering under the "Free Domestic Shipping" offer the amount deducted from the credit will vary because of the wide variety of costs associated with shipping, ie, some items are less than 1 lb. while other items weight anywhere from 5,10, 15 lbs. all the way up to hundreds of lbs. Shipping costs are unrecoverable once spent, and thus cannot be credited.

An acceptable return is based on the item(s) not being used, worn, soiled or damaged and can be resold in perfect condition.

Non-returnable items: Includes, but not limited, to audio programs, books, CD's, DVD, videos, incense, oils, soaps and other packaged consumable products which could be affected by use or opening. Clothing is returnable within the first 14 days after you receive your purchase for an exchange in size of the same or like product, unless otherwise noted on the website. Any clothing marked on sale is not returnable.

Terms can be modified without notice, and changed based on the type of order. Some orders may be marked non-returnable, no-exchange or refunds if we deem it necessary.

Defective merchandise will be replaced free of charge.

Products must be returned clean, free of wear, tear or appear to have been read. Clothing which is worn, torn, soiled or damaged and used cannot be returned.

If the item is damaged or defective, we will replace it without any cost to you, unless it was damaged as a result of misuse. Contact us within 24 hours after receiving the damaged item.

Please use your store credits in 30 days to help us manage information.

Items damaged by the shipper (UPS or FedEx) must be reported within 48 hours. If you want insurance on a package let us know in advance. Items you purchase are not insured for shipping unless you request the insurance.

You are responsible for the shipping and handling on returns or exchanges, both directions.

Please do the following PRIOR TO RETURNING A PURCHASED ITEM:
E-mail to arrange to get a Return Authorization. Use your order number and the word return on the package. We must know the reason for the return in order to replace or get you a new one. If the product is unused, undamaged and can be resold, we will accept it back only after approval. Let us know what items you would like to exchange for.

To return an item it must be in the original package, unused, and undamaged in any way. Important! You'll need to include the on-line order confirmation receipt with the order number, and item(s) being returned. If you have not included a copy with this information, we cannot process your return.

Order cancellations? Once an order is placed, and if a cancellation takes after we have make the transaction, a 10% restock charge applies to cover our credit card transaction fees, staff time and other costs.

Can I cancel a special or custom order? Special orders, and customer orders cannot be canceled, since we have already made purchases on your behalf. This includes meditation robes, Zen robes, the large altars/shrines, certain special order colors on back jacks, chairs and any other product so noted.
