A Back Jack is a sturdy and portable, "go anywhere" chair. It is built with a heavy cotton duck outer cover stretched over a rigid steel inner frame. The Back Jack bottom seat is heavily padded for comfort. The Original version of the back jack stacks conveniently when not in use. The folding version of the back jack is spring loaded allowing you to fold it down easily when not in use. They are both excellent for those who experience lower back pain when sitting. If you need additional support for for your back when sitting longer periods of time, then the Back Jack is a good solution for providing that support. The Back Jack looks and acts like a beach chair but with far more padding, strength and durability in the design.. Back Jacks are also excellent for meditation retreats, at home, at the park, the beach, camping or elsewhere. The Folding Style Back Jack is built with the same dimensions as the original standard Back Jack, but it folds for better storage and ease of traveling. You can fit the folding version inside of a suitcase, under a bed, in a closet or any other storage space. Approximate Dimensions: Back rest is 14" wide x 21" tall, the seat is 11" deep x 14" wide.
Note: The folding back jack has a spring (not a hinge) at the base where the back rest meets the seat. The manufacturer supplies a strap to hold the back rest down against the seat in a compressed position for storage and traveling. In other words, it folds like a beach style chair.
