Meditation Benches
For those with knees that need extra support or if your legs fall asleep
easily, a Meditation Bench is likely to make sitting more comfortable.
After all, if your body is constantly in pain, your mind cannot relax
as easily during meditation, prayer or study.
The Meditation Bench is strong, light weight and beautifully constructed
by our carpenter of select hard woods. We then protect the
hard wood surface with a coat of protective finish so that the natural
beauty of the wood shows through while preserving the wood. Each
bench is unique.
Important note to shoppers requesting air services. The
air carriers charge by dimensional weight, which means cubic box
size and weight. The shopping cart cannot determine if a package
is oversized. If you are ordering a zafu/ Zabuton combination set,
Zabuton or meditation bench and Zabuton the cost shown will actually
be approximately half the cost is that needs to be charge. In other
words, we will have to double the freight amount shown during check
out if you want next day, 2nd day or 3rd day air.
Meditation Bench,
with the attached cushion. Dimensions: 7.5"H x 5.5"D x 18.25" W.
If you add the cushion it is approximately 8"H. Note that the cushion
is removable and the legs are not curved rather the seat is slanted
slightly forward. This bench is suitable for those up to 6'

your bench for added ergonomic comfort. .
When you add a Zabutons Meditation Mat
beneath the Meditation Bench you will provide additional support
for the ankles, knees and provide yourself with place to rest sacred
objects while meditating. Sacred objects(texts, practice implements,
Malas and etc.) should never be set upon the floor as this is disrespectful
and shows a lack of mindfulness of the importance of sacred things.
Folding Oak Meditation Bench,
with removable black cushion. This is our strongest hardwood
bench. We use the finest hinged hardware. The folding bench is an
excellent choice if you are planning on traveling or have limited
storage. Dimensions: the Standard Folding Meditation Bench
are 7.5"H (back side of leg), (front side of leg) x 6.5"D x 17.5"W.
All dimensions are approximate.
On the Standard Folding Meditation Bench, the legs are gently
slopped (not curved) or angled forward for additional comfort. It
has a flat base on the legs, not curved bottom legs. This bench
is suitable for those up to 6' 2" tall, and not more than
225 lbs. Be sure to get a bench bag for carrying and storing of

the Folding Oak Meditation Bench, and pick up the bench bag to protect
it.
Large Folding Meditation Bench. If you are taller, and heavier
we will need to purchase the larger folding bench, Dimensions:
the Folding Meditation Bench are 8.5"H (back side of leg) and
7.5" H (front side of leg) x 7.25"D x 21.75"W. This is are a custom
ordered product - please allow 2-4 weeks for this bench to arrive.

Folding Bench Bag. For easy, hands free toting of your folding
bench, we encourage you to get the carrying bag since it protects
the bench as well as gives you ease of carrying. .The Bench bag
includes two straps allowing you to carry the bench "back pack"
style or slung over the shoulder "tote bag" style. Available

Support Cushions...to achieve greater comfort some people
find it helpful to use a support cushion. The support cushion can
be utilized in many ways-to give you that extra lift or height for
a taller individual, to support ankles or knees(when sitting cross
legged on a bench) Support cushions are densely packed with
