Teaching Mudra Buddha, Cast Resin, Bronze Patina, Suitable for indoor entry to a home, or outdoor use in a garden setting or entry to a commercial building.

This Buddha's hands are in the position called the teaching mudra. In Sanskrit it is the "Vitarka Mudra". It is also called the gesture of argumentation. The thumb and index finger touch, forming a circle, symbolic of the "Wheel of the Teaching", the "Eightfold Noble Path" that leads to the end of suffering in this life.

This teaching Buddha is made of fully cast resin, and stands a full 36"H. It can be placed in a garden or indoors as well. When placing outdoors some shade would be best.
